An extension and internal renovation was needed for the house of Ernst Casimirlaan in Overveen, The Netherlands to make a pleasant house to live in. The plot is not rectangular but slanted on both sides. The challenge was to create a full width extension down to the garden office with steps to create a nice walk over the slope.
The back facade is made of horizontal cladding and wooden window frames, the garden has the similar materials as the extension to create a coherence between the two spaces.
The facade at the front of the kitchen will have a clean slighting window door that opens to the front garden to gain natural light for the living & dining room.
